Edit or add new admins to your Drove account

Edit or add new admins to your Drove account

We updated the "permissions" area in  Drove's accounts and from now on you can better control who can access, view or make changes to your campaign.

So what does that actually mean?

Admin/Owner

We recommended that the owners of the pages be the administrators of the association, who are legally responsible for the data received on the page.

Page owners can transfer the ownership of the pages to administrators defined at the admin level.

Admin

The admins can create, edit and view all parts of the pages.

Also admins can change the permissions for other people on the page.

Viewer and editor - Edit & View

A user who is under the definition of "Viewer and editor - Edit & View", can open and edit campaigns, emails, SMS and ambassadors but cannot access the following parts of the page: the contacts, the payment area, the account settings and donations in each campaign but can still see the analytics of the campaign.

View only

An administrator defined as "view only" can view the campaigns and the "performance" areas, but cannot create campaigns or edit existing ones, as well as not send/edit newsletters or SMS messages.

Add admins to your Drove account by following these steps:

Step 1: Access your Account settings via the menu on the right hand corner of the screen.

Step 2: Click Manage roles to add an admin: Enter the email address of the person you wish to add as an admin, and click Add admin. An email will be sent to this address, notifying your contact and requesting them to approve the admin request.

All admins can edit or add content, create campaigns, etc. You cannot add moderators who can only view the page without having editing privileges.

Should you wish to remove an admin, click the Remove button by their name. An owner cannot be removed from an account.

*Please note: If the new admin is already connected to Drove with another email, he must disconnect first and only then confirm the email.

To edit the permissions follow the instructions:

  1. Click on the three lines in the upper left part of the page
  2. Go to account settings
  3. Choose the permission type for each administrator on the page

Note: only page owners and admins can change the type of permissions

*Remember that in order to add an administrator to the page, you must add his email and send him a request to join by clicking on the "Add Administrator" button

Note: the initial permission given to a new administrator is "Edit & View"
