Setting up a payment provider

To set up a payment provider in Israel, Send us WhatsApp to 058-5422544, or email us at contactus@drove.com.

In the US, Drove accepts PayPal Business and Stripe.

Once you complete the payment provider setup, you’ll be able to sell tickets and products, and accept donations.

After connecting your payment provider, please make sure that everything is working by making a payment,

⇨ When you build an action page, a prompt at the top of the page will help you set up a payment provider:

⇨ You can also connect a payment provider from the top left menu. Look under Page settings > Payment settings > Add a payment provider.

⇨ On the next screen, you will be prompted to choose a payment provider. Drove supports Stripe, and PayPal Business.

II. Connecting Stripe

⇨ If you choose Stripe, you will need to confirm that you are not using it for political fundraising:

⇨ The next page will guide you through the setup of a Stripe account.

⇨ If you already have a Stripe account, log in using the link on the top right of the page.

⇨ If you don’t have a Stripe account, complete the form to create one.

⇨ Make sure you enter all of the required information.

⇨ At the end of the form, you will be asked to confirm your email and password. Once you’ve done that, you can click on “Authorize access to this account.”

III. Connecting PayPal (Business)

⇨ If you chose PayPal, you will be asked for your PayPal access token. Please make sure you copy and paste it correctly, in its entirety.

⇨ Click on “Get your PayPal access token.” Log in to PayPal, copy the access token, then go back to Drove, and past the access token into the empty field and click Next. You will be connected to PayPal.

after connecting PayPal, please make sure that everything is working by make a payment using PayPal.

Please Note:

  • In order to accept funds, it is important for you to complete all the necessary details including the verification and identification process with PayPal. Applicable to new and old accounts.

  • Please note that if you do not complete the identification process (KYC) with PayPal your account will be restricted from receiving and\or withdrawal of funds and might also lead to account blocking.

  • Funds transferred through PayPal will be defined as a "transaction" by default, to define as "donation" please check the "Allow Donations" box. 3.png
