Start a photo petition

A photo petition is a highly effective tool for creating buzz and presenting public involvement in a certain cause.
A person who shares their photos as a supporter of a cause creates a greater impact than just signing, because it puts a face to the fight.

 

Start a photo petition by following these steps:

Step 1: Click on the Pages tab from the toolbar at the top of the page, then click New page.

Step 2: Select Campaign page, then choose Start a photo petition.

Step 3: Fill in the form’s fields: enter a Petition title, Upload a cover image or a YouTube link, and describe your petition. Add instructions for taking the photo (hashtags, poses, clothing, etc.).

Choose whether the number of photos submitted is available to the public or only to admins.

Step 4: Define the purpose of your petition by setting a photo goal and adding a deadline. If you wish to get any more information from your signees, you can add a question.

Step 5: Choose Advanced options to add a Label and track who in your contacts signed your petition. You can also assign an Internal page name to your petition, which will only be visible to the administrators. Additionally, you can change your Call to action text.

Step 6: Click on Next to save and finish. If you’re not ready to publish and distribute your petition just yet, you can always save it as a draft.
