Drove is proud to present a new way of crowdfunding: Ambassador Campaigns.
Recruit your supporters and volunteers and have them take an active part in your campaign.
An ambassador campaign is exactly that - a campaign driven by your organization supporters' power of distribution. They can be volunteers, employees, alumni, and even the executive tier.
Your ambassadors are committed to the organization, which means they want to raise money for it. This time, you're not asking them to send out a general campaign, but a personal one with their photo and personal story. This provides a personal connection to the campaign and the community.
So how does it work? The step-by-step guide to creating an ambassador campaign
Your first step is to start a regular crowdfunding campaign.
You can find it under the Pages tab in the toolbar.
Click New Page
Then select Campaign Page and Start Crowdfunding.

Keep in mind that any crowdfunding campaign can become an ambassador campaign, even retroactively, and vice versa - an ambassador campaign can go back to being a regular one at any stage.
To add ambassadors, go to the Options page of your campaign.
This option is always ticked as default. If you want to create a crowdsourcing campaign without ambassadors, uncheck the box.
The text will be the default text for all campaigns and all ambassadors.
They can (and are encouraged to) personalize it and explain why they're raising money for the cause, how others can contribute, etc. If they choose to leave the text as-is, the main campaign's content, including photos, will be kept.
Once the main campaign is ready, the main page will display a link for joining as an ambassador. This link can be shared with all of the relevant ambassadors via whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter or any other media, and instruct them on creating their mini-campaign using the Join as Ambassador button.
The ambassador will fill in their personal information and set a personal goal.
If you, as campaign manager, decide to raise the overall goal, any goals set by the ambassadors prior to that date will stay as they were.
If you decide not to display the target goal on the main campaign page, the ambassadors' campaign won't display it either.
Important tip: When writing content for your campaign, remind your ambassadors to include answers to the following questions: who, what, where, and why. Who's raising money? For what cause? How are you related to the organization, what's the donation deadline, where and how should they donate. Give your audience as much information as possible, but keep it personal. Adding an eye-catching photo and headline will help your supporters connect and want to read more about the cause.
Because knowledge is power!
We've separated the ambassador campaigns' results from the rest of the donations, for quick and easy campaign analysis.
Here you can see the status for each ambassador, their personal goal, how much was donated so far, and more.
If you want, you can edit each ambassador's campaign at any moment via the Donations tab.
Go to Ambassadors, then Edit Content.
You can also change an ambassador's status to blocked if you want to take their campaign offline.
Important
You can't edit or view a blocked ambassador's campaign. Visitors that click that ambassador's link will be redirected to the main campaign.
An ambassador will only appear in the main campaign's gallery after at least one donation has been made to their personal campaign.
Any changes to the main campaign will be automatically updated on the ambassadors' campaigns: contents, main image, display, automations, etc.
Donors' details from every ambassador campaign will appear in the main campaign's contributors table.
