- In order to accept funds, it is important for you to complete all the necessary details including the verification and identification process with PayPa
- Please note that if you do not complete the identification process (KYC) with PayPal your account will be restricted from receiving and\or withdrawal of funds and might also lead to account blocking.
- You can only connect a business PayPal account to Drove, not a personal one.
- Funds transferred through PayPal will be defined as a "transaction" by default, to define as "donation" please check the "Allow Donations" box.
- Choose your accepted currency in your PayPal account.
- You can connect a PayPal terminal to your Drove account in addition to other terminals. The customer can choose their preferred payment method during checkout.
- When connecting your PayPal account, you will be asked to provide a credit guard as guarantee for the platform’s commission fees (no fees are deducted at source).
To connect a business PayPal terminal, follow these steps:
1. On the main Drove page, go to Profile Settings and click Account Settings.
2. Click Payment Settings in the toolbar. If your contact information has not yet been entered, you will first be asked to provide it. These details will be used on your invoices, and the terminal cannot be connected without them. When you’ve finished, click Next.
3. Under Payment Provider, choose PayPal and click Next.

4. Click on Get your PayPal access token and connect to your business PayPal account. Copy the access token into the relevant field in Drove (make sure every character has been properly copied), and click Next.
5. Your PayPal terminal should now be connected to your Drove account.

7. An IPN is used to retrieve information from PayPal, for instance when a refund is performed. It is not mandatory. If you choose to connect and IPN to Drove, you will not be able to connect it to other accounts. To setup an IPN, follow these steps:
- Log in to your PayPal business account at PayPal
- In the profile menu on the yop right-click Profile and Settings
- Click My Settings Tools Note: If you don't see the profile icon on the top right, navigate to My Account > Profile > My Selling Tools
- Click the Update link in the Instant payment notifications row, in the Getting paid and managing my risk section
- Click Choose IPN Settings and specify the following URL and activate the listener

On the following page, specify the following URL in the Notification URL field
- Click Receive IPN messages (Enabled) to enable your listener
- Click Save
